Un an d’absence, il était tant de venir poster.

Inactivité sur le blog mais pas sur l’établi. Pas mal de petites choses à venir donc.

Je vous propose aujourd’hui un retour sur la Deathwing avec un marcheur et pas des moindre puisqu’il s’agit de rien de moins qu’un Leviathan Dreadnought.

I propose you  today to come back on the Deathwing with a walker and not least since it is nothing less than a Leviathan Dreadnought.
 

 

Un superbe kit qui permet beaucoup de possibilité de positionnement, des plus statiques aux plus farfelues.

La première chose que j’ai fait cette fois c’est un montage Photoshop, histoire de voir ce que l’on peut faire pour personnaliser un peu la bête, quels héraldiques utiliser et quelles couleurs ou motifs appliquer.

The first thing I did, was to make a Photoshop mounting to see what we can do, how to customize the beast, what heraldics to use and which colors or patterns to apply.

Après nettoyage du kit, j’ai tout de suite conçu la tête spéciale, dans le design des casques Terminator.

After cleaning the kit, I immediately designed the special head, such as design of Terminator helmets.

Ensuite est venue l’aimantation des armes, afin de faire varier les options d’armements ainsi que les directions, pour pouvoir jouer sur la mise en scène en vitrine..

Then came the magnetization of weapons, to vary the weaponry options  and orientations, to be able to set the scene in the showcase.

La peinture suit ma recette classique de la Deathwing : sous couche blanche, base steel legion drab air, light brown Vallejo air, ushabti bone air et blanc.

Painting steps follow my classic Deathwing recipe: white undercoat, steel legion drab air base, Vallejo air light brown  air, ushabti bone air and finally white tone..

Rien de spécial pour le reste, weathering à base de pigment, éraflures à la mousse de blister et pinceau.

Le petit plus cette fois est l’utilisation de décalcos maison pour le logo Deathwing et la frise rouge. Encore merci à Morbäck pour ses tuyaux !

Nothing special for the rest, weathering-based pigment, scratches with blister foam and brush.
The little extra this time is the use of homemade decals for the Deathwing logo and the red frieze. Thanks again to Morbäck for his tips!
